Data Night
Tonight was Data Night at Eagle Elementary. Anabelle brought us to her classroom where she showed us her school work, her artwork and all the fun things about her classroom. Her teacher, Mrs. Mybeck told us that Ana has been a wonderful sponge, soaking up every lesson and learning very quickly. It's hard to believe that Ana couldn't ready or write before entering school in August, and now she can read most of her books, sound out most words and write like a champ!
I asked Anabelle if she ever used that pointer to pick her nose. Apparently I said it loud enough for one of her classmates to hear me. They both looked at me like I was nutty. Now not only am I the crazy Mommy who tried to get in the wrong car while yelling obscenities... now I'm the try-to-be-funny-but-am-really-awkward Mommy. Can't win.

I LOL'd at that nose picker comment! I think you are funny! But I feel the same way about myself being awkward instead of funny. At least we TRY!
