Did you know that one of Anabelle's favorite shows is Wheel of Fortune? Really, no joke. Every night she waits for it to come on and then makes us pause it if she has to use the restroom, get a drink of water or blink. Heaven forbid she miss a single second. I just don't get it? Maybe it's because I'm horrible when trying to play at home. I feel like a big dummy when Mike and Ana are solving puzzles and I can't even figure out the three letter words?

I think part of the fascination is all the cash and prizes the contestants win. Anabelle really gets into watching the sizzles of the vacation destinations and the cars... and of course she wants all they have to offer. Today she told me that we just had to have the Winnebago (with a TV in it) and she begged to go to the Hilton Hawaii resort. She also wanted to know - Are they (Vanna and Pat) married or are they really good friends? Why does that girl wear pretty dresses? Why are the green squares sparkly?

The downside? The commercials. They are usually geared toward a more mature audience. Specifically, I have to try and distract her when the pharmaceutical ads come on. Today I missed one and she heard a listing of the drug side-effects. She then proceeded to repeat each one with an, "ewe gross" or "disgusting" followed by a giggle afterward.
