One Big Happy Family...

... well, most of the time.

Poor Emilia has been a handful the past few days and today we finally figured out why. She's been walking around crying and whining, holding her ears and saying "owie". Tomorrow I"ll call to the doctor and hopefully schedule a visit...  I"m preparing myself for tubes.  :(
Abram has fit right in. Right now he's just a wall flower except of course, when he's hungry or has a dirty diaper. We ran our first errands together on Friday after getting my car back from the shop. It was nice to get out of the house.

Meanwhile, Ana has been keeping busy. This week she discovered all the fun that American Girl has to offer. She got her hands on a catalog before I had a chance to toss it and has circled enough "want" items to put us in the poor house.

She has also decided she really wants a pet. Because she knows we can't handle a dog or cat right now, she said she'd settle on a snail in a tank. Wow. Really? I guess we'll look into that.

Kindergarten is also moving right along. The best part? No spell check! Check out some of Anabelle's latest work below. Translations provided.

On Saturday I sleep in. I am usually tired. I stay in my bed.

McDonals is a fun place! There are chicken nuggets with ketchup. They are delicious.

I made my first trip to the gym this week and attended a spin class. Good news: I feel great after a hard workout. Bad news: my bottom is so sore from the bike I'm not sure I'll be able to sit normal for a week.

I'm also trying hard to adjust to managing three kids by myself. Saturday Mike traveled to Milwaukee for the Butler men's basketball game. I thought I was doing pretty well until Anabelle said, "Mommy, if you're getting frustrated you should put the babies in their cribs and take a minute to calm down." I guess those Tony Dungy PSAs are really working! (I tried hard to find the video to post for those of you not in the Indy area; It's much funnier if you've seen it)
