Are We There Yet?

We had a fun weekend with the visit of my new baby niece Gianna (pictured below) and her sister Lilly, as well as my sister and mom. The kids played all day and they hit the road home before dinner-time. Mom brought down a bunch of presents that we weren't able to fit in the car over Christmas. The girls had fun re-exploring and playing with their gifts.

We also attended the Hendricks County Basketball Tournament in Danville on Saturday night. We watched our friend Coach Brauman and the Brownsburg Bulldogs win the girls championship game then went to Franks for dinner. It was as good as time as possible, but Mike was able to experience first-hand what it's like to try and attend a sporting event with two crazy kids. Much easier to stay home and watch on TV!

Sunday while Mike was at work (Butler vs. Youngstown State), the girls and I tried to keep from driving each other crazy. We were all pretty strung out from no sleep (me), a head cold (Emilia) and cabin fever (Anabelle). We ended up entertaining ourselves with stickers. Daddy got home just in time to see the silliness.

As for me? I've been pretty irritable and hard to deal with lately. I'm not getting much sleep and the sleep I do get is not the best quality. I'm feeling super uncomfortable and really large. I'm honestly just ready to be done with pregnancy #3. Wish I could sleep like this...

... maybe if I got myself an American Girl doll, Pillow Pet and stuffed dog? Hey, at this point anything is worth a shot. My next doctors appointment is tomorrow (Tuesday). Countdown is at five weeks. In addition to a beautiful new baby boy, I'm also looking forward to a good cardio workout, a large cosmo, the ability to tie my own shoes and a more positive up-beat attitude.
