Odds & Ends
Anabelle worked on her Christmas list a little more, this time all by herself. I'm so proud of how she's starting to sound out words and spell them on her own. Only trouble is that we cannot figure out what a few of the items are? No worries, I'm sure Santa has most of it covered!
Mike and I attended a charity event on Friday and had a blast. It was a casino themed night "Raising the Stakes" for Noble of Indiana. What a great cause and what a great night out for us! We also loved learning about the Sertoma Club of Broadripple. What a fun group of guys!
The weekend was not absent of Butler events. Men's and Women's basketball played at Hinkle on Saturday and the Butler Bowl was the host of the second-round Men's Soccer NCAA Tournament on Sunday. Hoops won, but unfortunately the soccer team suffered their first loss to Michigan State. Emilia, although hard to tell, was very upset about the Bulldog team losing. Check out her booing....
I spent what free time I had this weekend experimenting with a new recipe for cake balls (thanks Kat!) Mike loved the yellow cake, vanilla frosting version. I also tried the red velvet and Anabelle added some sprinkles to a few. These are a MUST HAVE for Christmas!
