Things my grandma taught me...
- Never, ever put your shoes on a table - dirty, clean, new or still in the box. It's bad luck
- Don't sing at the table, you'll marry a crazy person
- You do not wear a hat in the house and you especially do not wear a hat to any type of dinner table (even restaurants), It's rude
- Burn a red candle and it will bring you wealth
- You go to the toilet, not the restroom, bathroom or potty
- To get someone's attention you yell "OYE" very, very loudly
- Speak your mind, even if it makes everyone else around you incredibly uncomfortable
