The Butler Bowl

After months of fundraising, Mike and the entire Butler family finally saw their dedication and hard work come to life this weekend as the football team opened the completely renovated Butler Bowl with a 28-20 win over Taylor University.

The new stadium features a chairback seating section that straddles the 50-yard line and general admission seating that stretches from goal line to goal line on the west side.  A seating section on the east side of the Bowl was also added for visiting team fans. Also included in the construction project was a brand new brick press box that includes a media center, two radio booths, two coach’s boxes, a filming deck and a VIP hospitality area called the Champions Room.... great for staff wives (wink, wink).

Originally built in 1928, the Butler Bowl is not only home to the Dawg's football team, but the men’s and women’s soccer programs as well. The renovations were made possible by funds raised through Bulldog Club donations and the ButlerRising capital campaign.

You can follow the entire renovation process, which started this past spring, here
We are so proud of you Mike!
