Memorial Day weekend was jam-packed with good times,

I'll try to sum it up with a list of short rhymes.

Saturday we celebrated two birthdays you see,

Ana and Emi were filled with glee.

Fun in the yard and yummy cake,

that looked like Candyland from a homemade bake.

Aunts and uncles, cousins, papa and Grams, 

All had fun in the time that we planned.

The girls opened gifts, presents and cards,

we sang and we laughed and we played in the yard!

Then it was Abe's turn, as we headed to church,
because of baptism for God he won't search

Two beautiful Godmothers held his hand,

And by his side they will always stand

Sunday came quickly that next morning,

Tailgating, drinking and friends, but a warning...

Kyle, Michael and Mike drank and had fun,

But by the end of the day all the beer, we had none.

What a packed, fun weekend was had by all,
