Winter Wonderland

What a way to start December! It started snowing Saturday morning about 1:00 a.m. and didn't let up until almost dinner-time Saturday evening. We got about 4 inches, as you can see from our back window.

Ana, Emilia and I had a full day starting at West Middle School at Breakfast with Santa. Although Anabelle was too scared to sit with Santa, we did have fun making crafts and eating breakfast to the tunes of the middle school band. The girls might be 16 before I actually get a picture of them with the big guy. Oh well.

The rest of our day was spent grocery shopping, birthday party for Anabelle and finishing up the girls room, which is now done! Emilia's things are all moved in. We now just have to try and transition her to the big girl bed before the baby comes.

While we were busy at home, Mike was in NYC watching the re-match between Butler and #1 Duke. He was lucky enough to stay at the very prestigious Harvard Club in Midtown and met up with some very familiar faces at the pre-game party. Not bad for his first trip to the Big Apple.

We are looking forward to a Sunday fun day, family day. Anabelle wants to go on a Daddy date, as published in her newspaper today...

Newspaper. My new cousin was born
Dogs are playing (she means butler). I get to have a Dad date at home
