Our Own Little Rudolph
Poor Emilia has had a tough week at daycare. She's been fighting off some type of flu/virus with a temperature hovering 99.2. She's been a little fussy, very needy and basically a hot mess. I picked her up on Thursday and she was wearing no pants, one shoe and had a boo boo report after falling and hitting her nose. Needless to say, we have our own little Rudolph leading up to Christmas. Hopefully a weekend full of snuggles will help.
Anabelle recovered from a bad Monday-Tuesday at school to a much better Wednesday-Friday. Whew. Today on the drive home from school she asked me, "Mommy, when are we going to put the garlic on the Christmas tree?" I thought about it for a minute or two or three, wondering if I had forgotten about some cultural tradition that uses garlic at Christmas that maybe Anabelle learned about in school. Then doh!, the lightbulb went on. I told Ana that we could go buy garland at the store if she wanted to put some on the tree.
