Nuggies and Ears, Ears and Nuggies
We've been back in the swing of things for two full weeks now and for the life of me, I cannot seem to get it together. Mike and I struggle to get up every morning, the girls dont want to get out of bed and I'm late to work more often then not. Needless to say the working out/weightloss program is not going as planned either. My goal is to get through this weekend and start fresh next Monday. I'm trying to keep a positive attitude!
We had an eventful few days this week. I took my car into the shop for a keyless remote fix and found out I needed a new transmission gasket and a new steering shaft. Thankfully half of it was on warrenty and we didnt have to pay a lot.
Emilia went back to the doctor who confirmed she still has her ear infections. The doc gave her a shot of Rocephin and we go back tomorrow to see if it worked. If not, we may have to discuss tubes. As sissy would say, "poor bubby".
On a slightly lighter note, Anabelle won an eating contest at school on Wednesday. Yes, you read correctly. Mike picked up the girls from daycare to find out that Anabelle had eaten 19 chicken nuggets for lunch. 19! Apparently she just kept asking for more and the caregivers kept dishing it out... over... and over... and over again. We were not very happy and had a talk with both Ana and the school. Hopefully we should be back on track for more appropriate portions in the future. I dont know how she fit that many nuggets in that little body, but wow am I thankful she didn't get sick! I guess it's something we'll laugh about later.
I'm off to the back woods of Michigan this weekend to see my grandparents and spend time with the family. I can't wait to blog about my adventures when I return. Boy, are you in for a treat! Stay tuned...
